Serving the Americas Foundation

Serving the americas foundation (dba america solidaria us) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization with an extensive network throughout the americas focusing on underserved and disadvantaged communities. Our model allows america solidaria to identify the pressing needs of the communities we serve in collaboration with local non-profit organizations. We design and implement high-impact capacity-building programs in partnership with local host organizations, placing skilled volunteers in year-long projects designed to benefit children, youth, and families living in poverty. By emphasizing volunteer engagements with local non-profits, we benefit the most vulnerable communities in the americas and build capacity among our partner organizations. Furthermore, we provide valuable experience to future global leaders, empowering our volunteers to address hemispheric development issues, to improve governance within civil society, and to strengthen bonds.

America solidaria promotes regional development throughout the americas, strengthening local initiatives through year-long service projects in nonprofit organizations working to alleviate youth poverty through a focus on education, health, and/or economic empowerment. It also fosters youth service through leadership training and social entrepreneurship programs.
