“The medical membership meets annually to elect officers to the medical advisory board (mab). The president and vice president of the mab serve as members of the cni board of directors.”

“Our auditors, taylor roth and company, pllc, prepare a draft of the form 990. The finance director of our organization reviews the draft, makes corrections, additions and clarifications. The executive director then reviews the draft along with the finance director, and they discuss making any additional changes. If there are questions, the finance director, executive director and the auditors work together to answer the questions as accurately as possible. At least one day before the meeting of the executive committee the final draft is sent by email to the members of the executive committee for their review and comments. Executive committee reviews and recommends filing of the form 990.”

“The executive committee uses information from salary surveys conducted by mountain states employers council, achievement of mutually agreed upon goals, budgetary constraints and closed session group discussion without the executive director present to set the next year's salary and determine the size of any bonus to be given. Deliberations are recorded and kept in the executive director's personnel file.”
