“Guarantee the films release in theaters in early 2015 as well as through traditional distribution channels such as DVD and online streaming. The distribution agreement involved a $100,000 licensing fee on top of revenue splits for when the film hit its distribution channels. Our costs associated with this program involved typical artistic, technical, and legal expenses in filmmaking to ensure the film met the industry standards and requirements for distributions. This included music licensing, film coloring, sound mixing, and format finishing. Much of 2014 was setting ourselves up to fundraise to our full potential so that we could increase program work for Pastor Lee.”

| IRS990/Desc | 0 | The drop box film: Through the powerful medium of film, we seek to share Pastor Lees story with the world. Our heart was also to get the film in front of as many eyes as possible, knowing that it had the power to mobilize people to support Pastor Lee and the children being abandoned as well as ultimately change peoples understanding of the value of life. In 2014 the film garnered more festival awards, wining best justice film at the justice film festival la as well as the inspiration award at the john Paul II film festival. The film was also chosen as official selections at Portland FF, Heartland FF, Bayou City Inspirational FF, Missions Fest, Social Justice FF, and Unspoken Human Rights FF. Through the buzz generated at film festivals, we were able to lock in a distribution agreement too.Pastor Lee: As an organization, Kindred Image seeks to serve and support the needs of Pastor Lee, unwed mothers, and their children in South Korea. In 2014, we were able to hire a field office director based in South Korea to serve, support, and expand Pastor Lees work on a daily basis. The field office director also exists to increase Kindred Images understanding of the needs on the ground and in the day-to-day to better support Pastor Lee. Through this individual, Kindred Image implements all its field programs. We were also able to launch our boxes of hope program through which we provide resources (diapers, baby formula, and baby wipes to name a few) that mothers need to take care of their children as best as they can. Each month we are able to provide around 25 mothers boxes. |
