“Specialty retailers in the juvenile industry that meet the eligibility criteria set forth in the membership criteria policy adopted by the Board of Directors are eligible to become members. A member is defined as a single business entity, regardless of the number of brick and mortar stores owned by that entity. Multiple memberships are not required or permitted for multiple brick and mortar locations. Each member, meaning each business entity, is allotted one vote, provided the member is in good standing. The Board of Directors may establish other membership classes that have no vote and that are ineligible to serve as Directors or Officers.”

“The Directors, except for the Executive Director, are elected by Brixy's members at the Annual Meeting. Voting at membership meetings may be in person but not by proxy with each voting member having a single vote. A majority of those voting where a quorum is present carries an action. A quorum for membership voting is 10% of the voting members. Members may vote without a meeting in elections or on any matter presented by the Board of Directors where the votes are submitted in writing by postal or other delivery or by electronic means and a quorum participates.”

Brixy offered members discounts from approximately 80 manufacturers - lowering the number in 2015 to focus on key vendors - with 80% of Brixy members participating in at least one discount program. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Provided discounts on key operating expenses, such as credit card processing and shipping. Brixy offers more than 35 discounts on operating expenses such as credit card processing, payroll porcessing, workers comp insurance, etc.”
