“Every day hope (edh), with a driving passion, exists to bring relief to communities and to raise the standard of living in developing nations. Edh works with community leaders and government officials to create sustainability within those communities. We develop programs for domestic water, potable water, training, and micro-enterprise projects.”

“Edh's livestock for life program continues to grow, starting with 11 families and now has 28 families involved in the program. Edh has also been researching new areas to open our second livestock for life program. Livestock for life is an edh program that provides a pair of pigs or goats to a needy family. The family must qualify, then go through animal training and then give the first born animal back to edh, who then gives the newborn to a new family that will join the program. The expenses listed do not include 1,000 for material and 150 volunteer hours.”

The community is 25 miles north of santo domingo and the well is suppling clean domestic water to 150 families. Communities that are located outside the center of cities have no running water.
