She is responsible to plan and organize the educational programs in the participating school districts and other educational initiatives. Mari has a Masters in Organizational Behavior from UH-Clear Lake. She is a Global Professional in Human Resources certified by the Society of Human Resources Management and has obtained certifications in Intercultural communication. In the past 22 years, she has had a successful career in roles of increased responsibility for global Companies such as GE Oil & Gas, BP, and T.D Williamson. She has worked in Latin America, Europe and the United States.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc0Bazaars Bazaars are income-generating opportunities for our current and former program beneficiaries, which allow participants to put into practice leadership, financial, entrepreneurship and artisan skills learned throughout the educational programs. They are in charge of the decision-making process and planning to sell their handmade products at the bazaars and get a first-hand taste of what it takes to be a small entrepreneur. Bazaar attendance ranges from 100 to 10,000 people depending on the selected events. In 2014, 2015 and 2016 all the program participants had the opportunity to participate in real life business experience.
IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActyOtherGrp/Desc0Educational Advanced Workshops. The Customized Advanced Educational Workshops are a new initiative that we are starting to offer to our program graduates. It originated from the interest of our Educational Program graduates to build on the knowledge they acquired during the regular 8-week educational programs. The workshops consist of 16 flexible hours of advanced content that can be divided into as many subjects as the participants request and need based on quantitative and qualitative assessments. The hours are also flexible (for example, 2 workshops of 8 hours each, or 4 workshops of 4 hours each.) These workshops are based on our proved educational platform yet the content is customized according to the interests of the participants.
