Mission

We prepare adults with motivation and aptitude for careers in tech, irrespective of their financial situation. We are committed to increasing diversity in tech by creating opportunities for under-represented groups.

Nashville software school's mission is to expand the technology workforce in middle tennessee by providing motivated individuals with access to a career in technology through training, mentorship, and learning by doing.

Schedule D, Page 3, Part X

The organization qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c)(3) of the internal revenue code. In addition, the organization qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b (1)(a) and has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under section 509(a)(2). The organization utilizes the accounting requirements associated with uncertainty in income taxes using the provisions of fasb asc 740, income taxes. Using that guidance, tax positions initially need to be recognized in the financial statements when it is more likely than not the position will be sustained upon examination by the tax authorities. It also provides guidance for derecognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosure, and transaction. As of december 31, 2021, the organization has no uncertain tax provisions that qualify for recognition or disclosure in the financial statements.
