IRS990/Desc0Wind Energy The Coalition educated a wide variety of stakeholders on the costs and benefits of wind energy in the Southeast. These stakeholders include regulators, decision makers, economic developers, the business community, and the general public. SEWC led efforts to continue offshore wind progress in NC, SC, and GA. As land-based wind made its way to the Southeast, SEWC worked to educate County Commissioners on the economic benefits of wind as well as provide fact-based information to address siting and other development concerns. Later in the year, SEWC released our supply chain map for the Southeast, providing a valuable resource to the industry, policy makers, and the public.
