Mission

The hope association is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 2012 out of the great calling to create everyday miracles for children in need throughout the dc metro area. Through our various programs and projects, we strive to meet children where they are, and minister to their needs, whether spiritual, physical, emotional, or relational. We also aim to equip aspiring leaders with the inspiration and tools they need to be the change this world so desperately needs and make an impact in their local communities. Our leadership development programs and events aim to create a new generation of leaders who are the channels of hope and healing in a world so desperate for it. Our legacy at hope is not found in our present work but rather in the future generations of lives that have been made better through our presence.

A purpose driven organization that seeks to joyfully meet the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of the local community in the D.C. Metro area.

The Healthy Start Program delivers healthy and nutritious food to children from low-income families over weekends and long holidays, including summer and winter break, when there are no guaranteed meals from schools. Through a partnership with local DC public schools, we serve 100 elementary aged children in the D.C. area who live in high poverty, food insecure households by collecting healthy and nutritious food and filling backpacks with both perishable and non-perishable foods for children to take home.

IRS990/Desc0The Egypt Mobile Clinic Program launched in 2019 with the aim of delivering medical care to people in rural areas in Egypt who do not have enough money to see a doctor or buy medications. In some of these areas (such as Upper Egypt) there are very few doctors, and needy patients in remote villages often lack the means to travel the considerable distances necessary to obtain medical attention. Thus, a mobile clinic was founded to serve needy people in these isolated areas. The Mobile Clinic makes outreach trips twice a month. Traveling to remote areas, they examine large numbers of patients and distribute free medications. Most frequently, they have to treat conditions related to unsanitary hygienic conditions, as well as illnesses resulting from malnutrition. Patients needing surgery are referred to nearby hospitals.

Through a partnership with local DC public schools, we serve 100 elementary aged children in the D.C. area who live in high poverty, food insecure households by collecting healthy and nutritious food and filling backpacks with both perishable and non-perishable foods for children to take home.
