“There are two classes of regular members: 1) regulated natural gas utilities that serve customers in washington, oregon, idaho or the provinces of british columbia and alberta. 2) any business entity that owns and operates natural gas transmission pipelines in washingon, oregon, idaho, or the provinces of british columbia and alberta and are actively engaged in business as a united states federal energy regulatory commission (ferc) or a canadian national energy regulator (cer) regulated natural gas pipeline. There can also be affiliated members: separate categories or classes of affiliated members, without the right to serve on the board of directors and without voting rights, may be established from time to time by the board of directors to meet the interests of those who wish to participate in the association on a selective basis. There are currently no affiliated members in the current year or the prior year.”
