Co-op education & culture building. We facilitated weekly team meetings and retreats with our co-op workers and boards, increasing business, financial, and communication skills. We held a sessions of a 12 week bootcamp co-op u for new co-op development which led to the formation of new co-ops described above as well as a co-op u for bhutanese refugees. This co-op u is leading to the launch of a grocery delivery co-op to increase food access for bhutanese neighbors. In late 2019, we hosted the union co-op symposium, a conference to help support the development and expansion of union co-op networks as a way to help create an economy that works for all, especially those who have been historically excluded. It drew 200 participants from around the country and as far away as mexico, england, and spain. We spoke at conferences and events around the country and hosted numerous visitors from other cities before covid.

Fiscal sponsorship of our harvest cooperative. Our harvest cooperative is a nonprofit cooperative association which was launched by co-op cincy and incorporated in 2012. Co-op cincy serves as a fiscal sponsor of the cooperative under "grant model" fiscal sponsorship. During fiscal year 2019-2020, our harvest continued its fresh food access program, employed 12 people, served as the practicum site for cincinnati state's sustainable agriculture management program, and distributed food form 23 local producers. It also began offering classes in agricultural to a cohort of bhutanese refugees who received co-op business training from co-op cincy. Launch of new co-ops. During fiscal year 2019-2020 we supported the launch of two new cooperatives - queen city commons, a composting co-op and a touch of tlc home health care services, llc.
