Fiscal sponsorship of our harvest cooperative. Our harvest cooperative is a nonprofit cooperative association which was launched by cuci and incorporated in 2012. Cuci serves as a fiscal sponsor of the cooperative under "grant model" fiscal sponsorship. During fiscal year 2017-2018, our harvest expanded a fresh food access program, employed 12 people, served as the practicum site for cincinnati state's sustainable agriculture management program as well as the lab space for cultivate's apprenticeship program. This past year, ohc moved the food hub processing operations from the freestore food bank's warehouse to the newport kitchen incubator and can now collaborate more easily with another food hub to help expand food access. Apple street market initiative. During fiscal year 2017-2018, after months of organizing, cincinnati city council unanimously approved funding for nest, northside's community development corporation, to purchase the building to house the market. Building acquisition unlocks 3 million in additional financing. The project is closer to construction.
