The mission of sam academy is to provide opportunities for underserved children in science,art and music. The program supports a free science workshop open after school and on saturday. Children can become involved in making/science ctivites. Other programs include art and music programs for at risk/under served children in the sanger area .
SAM Academy provides opportunities in STEM education and Positive Youth Development for under-served children in the Central Valley of California. SAM Academy partners with local and national organizations to expand support in these areas and to also provide professional development for local schools colleges and parents in STEM and making.

High school students serve as interns to support the program for younger youth.
