Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

Cross-cultural trips: western europe: we organized and led 2 ministry backpacking trips in europe. The first one was called "band of brothers- and was may 15-26. There were 9 on this team, all guys. We called it "band of brothers" because we started in normandy and worked our way across europe, roughly following the path of the wwii "band of brothers" led by major dick winters. The ministry part was the same as all of our other europe trips, using "world view survey" cards to ask questions and discuss eternal destiny of those we surveyed. We distributed literature and gospel of john to those we talked with along the way. The second trip was july 9-28. There were 11 of us on that trip (4 guys and 7 girls); we flew into copenhagen, denmark and came home from frankfurt, germany. We had "euro-rail passes- and had very few reservations. This allowed for flexibility and many "unknowns". God provided many opportunities for talk with people using "world view survey" cards and hand out gospels of john and other books. Each team meber was required to pay for the cost of their trip. Many "prayer letters" were sent out to friends and relatives describing the purpose of the trip and the costs. Donations to the ministry were received as a result of these letters. Christian school ministry: we ministered in 11 different christian schools in pennsylvania, new jersey, and delaware. Some of the schools were senior high chapel and some were both senior high and middle or elementary school. We were the "spritual emphasis week" speaker in 2 different schools. During those weeks we were in chapel each day as well as bible classes throughout the week. A number of schools scheduled for more than one chapel during the year. We spoke in a total of 31 different chapels. Fifty-six (56) different students filled out "reply cards" requesting information concerning our backpacking trips in europe. Each one of those students received post cards as well as a packet of information/application about the trips. Church ministry and retreats: we served as assistant youth leader for faith church, smoketown, pa and their "x-factor" youth group. In this role we taught once a month and assisted on the other weeks. We participated in "extra" activities like "super bowl party- and "pool party- and yearly retreat. We served as the speaker for a men's retreat with landsdale bible church. There were 35 men in attendance. We taught ss for adults in 3 different churches. We served as one of the presenters at "project go" at aldan union church. Project go is a youth missions week-end that is hosted by aldan union church. There were approximately 120 youth in attendance. While in kuala lumpur, malaysia we misistered in a pakistani church for their evening service.
