Representing america's low-carbon diesel alternative fuels, clean fuels alliance america organization will advance the interests of its members by supporting biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel industry growth. The organization serves as the industry's central coordinating entity for technical and quality assurance programs and will be the strongest voice for its advocacy, communications, and market development.

Representing america's clean diesel replacement fuels, the clean fuels alliance america organization will advance the interests of its members by supporting sustainable biodiesel, renewable diesel, and renewable jet industry growth. All members of clean fuels alliance america's governing body are elected by voting delegates or alternates by the organization's voting members. Voting members include feedstock producer organizations, producers, and marketers. The officers are elected at the annual fall meeting of the organization.

Changes that affect the make-up of the board of directors and changes impacting dues paid by members may only be made after required notification of proposed changes to the full voting membership.

All board members are provided the conflict of interest policy annualy along with a questionnaire that is used to identify conflicts between board members and banks. Questionnaires are reviewed by the president/ceo, the general counsel, and the cfo as well as others familar with the board members in question to ensure all relevant information has been disclosed. Board members are required to abstain from voting on matters that could be a conflict. The abstention is documented in the board minutes. Employees are also required to disclose conflicts related to specific banks or bankers and vendors to the president/ceo who forwards the information to the cfo for inclusion in the employee's personnel file.
