Mission

Representing america's low-carbon diesel alternative fuels, clean fuels alliance america organization will advance the interests of its members by supporting biodiesel, renewable diesel, and sustainable aviation fuel industry growth. The organization serves as the industry's central coordinating entity for technical and quality assurance programs and will be the strongest voice for its advocacy, communications, and market development.

Nbb works to create industry growth through public affairs, communications, technical, and quality assurance programs.

Members of nbb include any feedstock producer, feedstock producer organization, biodiesel producer, biodiesel marketer, small producer, organization or individual who is supportive of the purposes of the national biodiesel board.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 7A: How Members or Shareholders Elect Governing Body

All members of nbb's governing body are elected by voting delegates or alternates by the nbb voting members. Voting members include feedstock producers, feedstock producer orgainzations, biodiesel producers, and biodiesel marketers. The officers are elected at the annual fall meeting of the nbb.

Changes that affect the make-up of the board of directors and changes impacting dues paid by members may only be made after required notification of proposed changes to the full voting membership.

The ceo's performance review and compensation review is conducted by a committee determined by the board per nbb's written ceo and key employee compensation policy. The executive committee approves a ceo performance goal document at the beginning of the fiscal year. Mid-year and year-end reviews are conducted. Compensation is evaluated and benchmarked with independent survey data. This process is completed and documented with a report to the executive committee.
