Major Activities

Activity 2

Employment programs: financial stability is a major outcome for our clients. Approximately 1,500 people are assisted annually in finding permanent employment. Special emphasis is placed on placing nearly 300 veterans in employment. Job readiness classes and on-the-job training activities help prepare people for their future jobs. Mcmurphys grill trains approximately 70 people per year for futures in the restaurant field. The begin new venture center had 15 new companies sign on with the small business incubator, for a total of 24 companies with mission sensitivity to provide employment opportunities for st. Patrick center clients.

Activity 3

Housing programs: an important outcome of the agency is permanent housing for all clients. Independent living skills programs teach parenting and life skills which leads to housing and self-sufficiency. More than 500 people participated in these classes with 200 graduates. Project protect regional partnership provided family stability, substance abuse, financial stability and housing services for 200 families with 343 children affected by parental substance abuse. The neighborhood support program assisted 714 poverty-level individuals (484 families) in existing housing with rent and or utility assistance to overcome housing crises. Housing support resulted in approximately 662 people being placed into permanent housing. Rosati house comprises two transitional housing facilities that served approximately 70 people.
