The finance committee will perform a formal review of the 990 return prior to filing of the return. Once approved by the finance committee, the executive director will send an electronic copy to all board members via email with a return receipt requested at least 7 days prior to the filing of the return. This allows members an opportunity to provide feedback to the finance committee prior to the filing of the return. The formal review will be documented by the finance committee. The return receipts will be kept with a copy of the 990 at springboard's offices.
