Activity 2

Spectrum Community Mental health provided case-management, community-support, housing, or other services to help 2,528 individuals with a serious mental illness move toward mental health recovery. 91 of the 1,123 individuals who received Spectrum case management services avoided psychiatric hospitalization during their involvement in the program. 91 of the 300 formerly homeless individuals receiving Spectrum housing services maintained their housing for over one year. Because people with a serious mental illness die on average 25 years younger than the general population, Spectrum increased its emphasis on health and wellness services. Activity 3

Recovery Resource Center RRC assisted 1,233 individuals with chemical-dependency problems. 63 of all RRC clients achieved sobriety and were successfully discharged from services - an impressive result for a program serving people with an average of six prior treatments before coming to RRC. Over 85 of former participants reported being involved in supportive recovery activities at the time of follow-up. A total of 621 RRC clients and 75 families moved from homelessness to stable recovery housing. RRC opened Building Resilient Families, a family residential treatment facility for pregnant, post-partum, and parenting women and their children.
