“Downtown platteville features several historic murals on various buildings that are enjoyed by hundreds of community members and visitors. Main street sponsored an art contest for the platteville high school art class with the theme of downtown memories. The winner's work is the first in a series of revolving murals in the downtown.”

“The nutrition program provides food vouchers to senior citizens and food pantry patrons. They use these vouchers to purchse fress food at the local farmer's market from may through october each year. Many families and seniors are dealing with food insecurity and this program continues to serve more folks each year.”
