Both the classes and markmanship competitions are available to members of the general public with the same class and entry fees charged to dues paying members of the organization as to the general public, and without regard to race, religion, sex, color, or membership in the organization (there are no discriminatory provisions for entry other than legal possession of firearms and observance of safety rules). The above describes all past, current, and planned activities. Current activities: specific activities planned are as described in the preceding narrative descriptions, with scheduled classes including three basic, three advanced, three rtbav, and rso classes scheduled as demand dictates. Sponsored competitions consist of monthly independent defensive pistol asssociation (idpa) and united states practical shooting association (uspca)format competitions at the cameo facility, and approximately 10 evening competitions at the whitewater range. To continue to advance firearms proficiency and safety, persons who have completed one of the firearms training classes are entitled to practice their shooting skills and safety observance once each month at the colorado division of parks & wildlife indoor shooting range facility in grand junction, colorado. Future: all the activities in the preceding paragraph will be continued in coming years as demand dictates. In addition, the organization hosts the idpa regional match, the uspca bighorn match, and the colorado state idpa match, all at the cameo range. In 2022 the organization will host the idpa national competition.”
