“Michigan peace team seeks to maintain our long-term presence in palestine/israel and to stabilize our presence in juarez, mexico or a new international location and also to respond to the ever-increasing requests for nonviolence training and peace teams within the united states. Michigan peace team will achieve these goals by increasing the number of trained nonviolence trainers thus increasing the number of workshops offered annually and maximizing the pool of potential peace team participants. We also need to recruit experienced team leaders to accompany teams. We refer to these as "anchors." we have increased our number of nonviolence trainers as well as international team trainers.”
