Mission and Program Overview

Mission

As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, nortown serves as a place-based collaborative to develop and foster safe and affordable housing, historic preservation, business retention and expansion, educational, recreational, cultural, and job opportunities in northeast detroit.these ideals raise and stabilize the economic, environmental, educational, and social levels of its neighborhood constituents, especially minority and low to moderate income persons.
