Major Activities

Activity 2

The museum conducts programs and classes on- and off-site to educate the public about specific topics separate from, or in conjunction with, the museum's normal exhibits. These programs reach people throughout the entire state of michigan, northern ohio, and other national audiences through the distance learning program.

Activity 3

The museum has its own exhibits team which builds and designs new exhibits, and are often involved in special projects. Some of the exhibits are for internal use and are funded by donor contributions, while other exhibits and projects are sold, rented or loaned to other museums, libraries, venues, or municipalities to provide additional opportunity for learning experiences outside the museum.
