“The board of directors shall have an executive committee, consisting of the president, president-elect, vice president, secretary-treasurer, immediate past president, and chair. The review includes comparison to other like organizations as well as looking at the annual cpi to determine if a change is appropriate for the upcoming year. Documentation of the review is kept in the finance committee's meeting minutes. (b) the executive director is provided a contract which typically extends five years. The most recent contract was july 2020. The full board of directors participates in the review of the contract and relies on outside consultants to ensure compensation is comparable to like organizations and scope of duties. The board of directors conducts a performance review annually for the executive director. Documentation of all levels of the review is kept in the meeting minutes, and the final contract is kept in the executive director's employee file.”
