Mission

Airlink is a nonprofit organization working with aviation and logistics partners to transport relief workers and emergency supplies for reputable non-governmental organizations (ngos) responding to rapid-onset disasters and other humanitarian crises around the globe.

To coordinate and provide aircraft transportation capacity donated or offered at a reduced price by providers of air transportation to non-governmental organizations who are engaged in providing assistance to national and international humanitarian relief projects.

Governance Explanations

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 4

“The bylaws were amended in 2023 to establish term limits. Trustees are now limited to serving two consecutive three-year terms unless a trustee has been elected to serve as an officer (in the role of chair, vice-chair, treasurer or secretary), in which case, the trustee's term may be extended for one year beyond the duration of serving. The amendment also requires committee chairs and members to be selected by the chair, nominated by the governance committee, and elected by the board. The amendment also further clarifies the president & ceo's role and authority to run the day-to-day affairs of the corporation. To improve consistency, some of the language used was modified. For example, director was replaced with trustee and chairman with chair.”
