“The significant variance in revenue less expenses from 2017 to 2018 is primarily a result of recording of united airlines funding. In accordance with generally accepted accounting principles the entire grant award was recorded as revenue to airlink in 2017 even though the cash was to be received during 2017 and 2018. Since the entire amount was recorded in 2017, 2017 revenue less expenses are significantly higher than those reported for 2018.”
