The compensation process for top officials each year is to have hcfb region 1 manager present a compensation package for the area managers, of like kind and comparable organizations. The board then works with the regional manager in order to present a package to the manager. The next year's contract is then signed. Compensation process for officers and board members are compensated via a per diem agreement and reimbursed mileage at the irs standard rate.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Fasb 740 requires entities to analyze the likelihood of disallowance of tax positions taken in returns already filed or to be filed in the case of examination by taxing authorities. This evaluation of tax positions may result in the recognition of additional tax liabilities or derecognition of certain tax assets. The interpretation also will require additional tax related disclosures. In consultation with the farm bureau's tax advisors, management has concluded that there are no uncertain tax positions requiring recognition in the financial statements as of august 31, 2014. The farm bureau's income tax returns are open to examination by taxing authorities for the years ended 2011 to 2014. Returns are generally subject to examination for three years after they have been filed.
