| Other Program Services: Other program services included 1) our legacy Court Case Dogs CCDs programs, supporting previously approved CCDs, conducting dog behavioral consultations in person or virtually, free of charge, to CCD families, conducting interviews and disseminating success stories on social media, documenting procedures for application to new abused shelter dog programming and sharing with other organizations for implementing their own CCD programs, 2) Collaborative Justice, which continued Court Advocacy efforts both virtually through Zoom and in-person in courtrooms with some 15 active volunteers for on average three to four hearings per week and paying for necropsies for deceased animals brought to CACC who were allegedly abused , 3) Community Collaboration with corporate and group volunteer days with 26 corporations and groups during 31 events comprising more than 300 volunteers from those groups working with more than 200 individual CACC shelter dogs and between 2 and 8 volunteers each time and 4) Outreach/Engagement & Education. | PALS/Program Dogs: CACC shelter dogs were assessed for participating in our Lifetime Bonds programs, manners and skills classes, and corporate / group volunteer events. These Program Dogs also incorporate our existing PALs and Ambassador Dogs. Several hundred hours of assessments and weekly hours in classes (totaling aprroximately 500 dog-handler sessions) involved working with 6 to 10 dogs each class. NOTE: This category does not include our legacy Court Case Dogs CCD Program. Also, effective March 1, 2024, Safe Humane began working to provide more program opportunities for volunteers and staff inside the shelter to work with dogs during their stay at CACC.
