“Dynamic learning institute - significant initiative time was resourced to develop the dynamic learning institute (dli) a lifelong learning initiative. Dli is a new program service offering the texas hill country forty (40) lifelong learning opportunities annually which are taught by volunteer experts who share their expertise with class participants. The spring semester of dli was launched in january 2018 in collaboration with community partners schreiner university and dietert/club ed.”

“The bylaws of leadership inc were updated at the direction of the board of directors.the 2017 amended and restated purposes and powers of leadership inc are:leadership inc purposes and powers:2.01 the ministry is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational and religious purposes as defined by section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code, as amended. The ministry's assets are pledged solely for its use in performing its charitable, educational and religious functions. On discontinuance or dissolution of the ministry, its assets are to be transferred to another organization, selected by the ministry's board of directors, that qualifies as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code, as amended.2.02 the ministry shall have the power to engage in any activity that is lawful for a missouri nonprofit corporation and which is permissible for an organization that is tax-exempt pursuant to section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code, as amended. Subject to the foregoing, the ministry's purposes shall include, but are not limited to:a. To serve as followers of jesus christ, advocates of his servant leadership precepts, champions of marriage and family as the foundation block of god's natural order and proponents of strengthening the future of the family.b. To encourage leaders from all walks of life to mobilize their faith into action to tackle unfulfilled needs that as fulfilled will improve life for vulnerable and foster vibrant communities.c. To establish and administer leadership inc churches and collaborate with organizations of goodwill to carry-out the purposes of the ministry.d. To develop lifelong learning programs in collaboration with faith, business, government, community and education leaders so that the future of the family is strengthened and the communities we serve flourish.e. To develop credit organizations that improve opportunities for the vulnerable to achieve financial freedom and escape the bondage of predatory loans.f. To make distributions that fulfill purposes of the organization; to accept, hold, invest and administer gifts, legacies, bequests, devises, funds and property of any nature, and to use, expend, or donate the income or principal thereof for, and to devote the same to the purposes of the ministry.”
