Governance Explanations

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

The form 990 is reviewed and approved by the executive leadership after board approval of the audit.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

Conflict of interest surveys are distributed and collected from each member of the board of directors and from each member of the management staff annually. The organization's conflict of interest policy is followed to resolve any circumstances that arise as a result of the surveys.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15A

For the executive director, the compensation committee of the board of directors researches comparable compensation data and negotiates an employment compensation arrangement. This arrangement is then recommended by the compensation committee to the full board of directors who approves it before commencement of employment.

Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19

Financial statements are available on our website and upon request. Governing documents and the conflict of interest policy are not available to the public.

IRS990/MissionDesc0TREEHOUSE IS ON A MISSION TO END HOPELESSNESS AMONG TEENS. WE GET TO THE ROOT OF WHAT TEENS ARE DEALING WITH BY HELPING THEM FORM HEALTHY, MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS, BETTER COPING SKILLS, AND A SENSE OF PURPOSE ROOTED IN LIVING HOPE OF JESUS. ALL OF THIS HAPPENS IN ENVIRONMENTS WHERE TEENS FEEL SAFE AND CAN BE THEMSELVES. WE BELIEVE GROWTH HAPPENS FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
