Activity 2

Distribution & Strategy Division - The division shared biblical peacemaking principles through approximately 70 events, including events at churches, denominational, district and national gatherings, and parachurch ministry conferences. Custom presentations were designed for specific organizations, denominations and gatherings. Staff members also explained biblical principles of conflict resolution and forgiveness through interviews on local and national radio programs. Numerous resources are available to assist churches in building a culture of peace, including a comprehensive resource set for church and small group studies on peacemaking and one serving women struggling in relational conflict. A major new resource was developed to provide church leadership with an opportunity to become peacemakers to their flocks. A special emphasis has been directed toward further engaging, interacting with, training and assisting pastors both individually and corporately.

Activity 3

International Ministries - This division has been active since July 2001. In 2010 we provided training seminars in the Phillipines, Uganda, France, Australia, China, and Taiwan. Our basic book, The Peacemaker, has been translated into over a dozen languages, the newest translation is Amharic (Ethopia) language edition, completed in 2010. We continue to implement a long-term international strategy that focuses on developing centers of peacemaking in Africa, Asia and Latin America based on the creation of resources in four key global languages - English, Spanish, French and Mandarin. Our association with Overseas Council, a U.S. based organization that supports 115 seminaries worldwide, is ongoing. In partnership with one of these seminaries, the International Graduate School of Leadership in Manila, we have created a Doctor of Ministry degree program in biblical peacemaking. Shortly, seven students will be completing their final year of the 4-year Doctor of Ministry curriculum. Finally, we updated and revised our web-based resources to assist peacemakers in more than 140 countries worldwide.
