Activity 2

Ounce's Illinois Birth to Three Institute (IBTI) reaches 2,100 at-risk families annually through our statewide network of home visiting and doula services. IBTI conducts specialized training and technical assistance for 200 early childhood professionals working in 29 community agencies across Chicago and throughout Illinois. IBTI also provides over 219 full days of training to infant-toddler home visitors across the state each year to improve the quality of services provided to vulnerable families with very young children.

Activity 3

The National Group and Bounce Learning Network (BLN) share Ounce's extensive early childhood knowledge and expertise through consultation and technical assistance on program, public policy and systems work; research and evaluation; organizational capacity building; and philanthropic engagement strategies outside of Illinois. The BLN is a multi-state consortium of Educare schools that provides and promotes high-quality, outcomes-based learning environments for vulnerable children, birth to five, and their families. The BLN also assists in the cultivation of key stakeholder relationships in communities nationwide that are interested in developing and operating Educare schools that best serve the needs of at-risk children and families.
