Annually, mpc asks board of governors to fill out a questionnaire, which is put in each board member's file. The questionnaire is intended to discern: a. Whether compensation arrangements and benefits are reasonable, based on competent survey information and the result of arm's length bargaining. B. Whether partnerships, joint ventures, and arrangements with management organizations conform to the organization's written policies, are properly recorded, reflect reasonable investment or payments for goods and services, further charitable purposes and do not result in inurement, impermissible private benefit or in an excess benefit transaction.

Come. Cost of segregation: mpc led a multi-phase research and communications initiative on the impact of racial and economic segregation in chicago resulting in the cost of segregation study (launched in early 2017). Stormwater managment/water supply: mpc facilitated the calumet stormwater collaboration (csc) which brought together stakeholders to collaboratively solve stormwater challenges in the calumet region. Mpc launched a 10-point water supply action agenda for northeastern illinois on policy improvements that are necessary to better steward and manage the region's drinking water. Government efficiency: through coordinated research and advocacy, mpc led the transform illinois coalition to shed light on the inefficiency of government service delivery in illinois. Transportation: mpc led the cross-sector accelerate il coalition to study and publically reveal the scale of illinois' backlog in transportation- system improvements; illinois' transportation deficit requires an investment of 43 billion over 10 years. Housing: mpc launched the regional housing solutions research and community outreach project to encourage innovative approaches to housing and community development in city neighborhoods and suburbs.
