The Association is exempt from income taxes under the Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(6) and applicable MD statutes. No provision for income taxes is required at April 30, 2014, as the Association had no net unrelated business income. The Association follows FASB ASC 740 Income Taxes the authoritative guidance relating to accounting for uncertainty in income taxes.
