Mission continued... Needs of homeless persons, offers services to empower homeless persons to deal with the problems they are facing, and works directly with homeless persons to enable them to find suitable housing.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

Rapid re-housing program the rrh program offers financial assistance for housing and case management for people who are experiencing homelessness. The goal of the program is to house families and individuals that are literally homeless. The case management staff works with each of the clients on their housing stability plans to remain housed. Provided housing and services to 19 families and 29 individuals, including: 47 adults and 43 children veteran services program the veteran services program provides help to homeless or at-risk veteran's and their families. The goal is to provide case management services to focus on obtaining permanent housing solutions. Provided housing and services to 66 veterans: 11 families and 54 individuals; 78 adults and 20 children. Total people served in all programs combined 1,631 total people in all programs; 1,288 adults and 332 children; 182 families shelter (crisis, respite, overflow, and interim) 432 people; 7,573 bed nights of shelter

The organization is a not-for-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the state of indiana and is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code. In addition, the organization has been determined by the internal revenue service not to be a private foundation within the meaning of section 509(a)(1) of the code. Fasb accounting standards codification requires entities to disclose in their financial statements the nature of ay uncertainties in their tax position. Tax years includeing 2018 and later are subject to the examination by tax authorities. Areas that the irs and state tax authorities consider when examining tax returns of a charity include, but may not be limited to, tax-exempt status and the existence and amount of unrelated business income. The organization does not believe that it has any uncertain tax positions with resect to these or other matters, and therefore has not recorded any unrecognized tax benefits or liabiliteis. The organization is not aware of any circumstnaces or events that make it reasonably possible that tax benefits may increase or decrease within 12 months of the date of these consolidated financial statements. Union place apartments gp, llc is incorpoarted in the state of indiana and is subject to federal and state adjusted gross income tax and supplemental income taxes as the entity has elected "c" corporation status with the irs. Union place apartments gp, llc adopted the provisions of accounting for uncertain tax positions under the fasb accounting standards codificaiton. These provisions prescribe a recognition threshold of more-likely-than-not and a measurement attribute for all tax positions taken or expected to be taken on a tax return, in order for those tax positions to be recognized in the consolidated financial statements. For the years ended september 30, 2022 and 2021, union place apartments gp, llc activity generated no significant taxable icnome or loss. Therefore, no uncertain tax positions have been recorded nor any unrecognized tax benefits or liabilities. Tax years including 2019 and later remain subject to tax examination by tax authorities.

WE OFFER A VARIETY OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES ON-SITE, INCLUDING: PHONE/MAIL SERVICES, SHOWER AND LAUNDRY FACILITIES, DAY SLEEP ROOM, MEAL (BREAKFAST, LUNCH, AND DINNER), AND TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE.
