Form 990, Part III

Form 990, part iii, line 4a - first accomplishment eliminating factors in clients'financial lives that lead to increased and often unnecessary household expenditures, such as excessive interest payments made or payments made for various forms of financial penalties. Foreclosure prevention program: this program assists homeowners in maintaining their home after becoming delinquent on their home mortgage. Typically this is after a hardship. Options offered as part of the program include loan modification and cash assistance to bring the mortgage current as well as a number of other workout solutions that restructure mortgage payments to enhance affordability. The program also assists homeowners in cases where maintaining the current home is not viable with exit options that mitigate further damage to the homeowner's credit, such as facilitating short sales and using deed-in-liew of foreclosure. Home sales to qualified buyers and rentals to qualified renters who, based on income and other economic and related factors, would not be able to purchase a home or rent through the traditional market place due to the obstacles and challenges presented by the market place. Through the organization, these individuals have the opportunity, with our help, to become homeowners or renters, as we assist them in overcoming those obstacles and barriers.

FORECLOSURE PREVENTION PROGRAM: THIS PROGRAM ASSISTS HOMEOWNERS IN MAINTAINING THEIR HOME AFTER BECOMING DELINQUENT ON THEIR HOME MORTGAGE. TYPICALLY THIS IS AFTER A HARDSHIP. OPTIONS OFFERED AS PART OF THE PROGRAM INCLUDE LOAN MODIFICATION AND CASH ASSISTANCE TO BRING THE MORTGAGE CURRENT AS WELL AS A NUMBER OF OTHER WORKOUT SOLUTIONS THAT RESTRUCTURE MORTGAGE PAYMENTS TO ENHANCE AFFORDABILITY.
