“Form 990 is prepared by an independent Enrolled Agent and reviewed in detail by the Organization's top management. The reviewed Form 990 is then provided to the board of directors prior to filing with the IRS.”

“The Organization requires all officers and board members to annually complete and sign a conflict of interest questionnaire. The board Chairman is responsible for reviewing the signed statements and ensuring that interested persons are in compliance with the conflict of interest policy. Should any potential conflicts of interest be disclosed, the board member or officer would be asked to refrain from participation in any deliberation or decision with regard to matters affected by the relationship.”

“When the new CEO was hired in 2015, a compensation study was performed. Compensation for CEO positions of similar size and mission type organizations were considered. The CEO's recommended compensation was presented and approved by the independent board. The process was documented in the board minutes.”

“In the past several years ther have been no raises provided to staff due to severe financial constraints. In 2019, raises were provded for staff members who changes positions, but were paid less than the previous postion holder. Also, after many years of no raises, cost-of-living raises were provided for some stafff.”

“The Organization makes its Donor Privacy Policy, financial statements, and previous year's Form 990 available on the Organizations website. Upon written request to the Organization's adminstrative office, the above listed documents as well as the governing documents will b made available to the public.”
