“In carrying out the organization's exempt purposes during the year, the electrocoat association focused on educating industries on the costs and benefits of using electrocoating technology. Education continued with the utilization of social media communication (linkedin and twitter) with potential members, members and industry partners. We participated in surface finishing mexico in march, the first mexican event which we provided spanish speaking presenters. We held an electrocoating seminar in cleveland, oh in the fall. We participated in fabtech held in chicago, il which is an industry trade show also held in the fall. We published articles in trade magazines. Board and committee meetings were held to direct the association's advertising and marketing strategies for the future. We began the installation of a new online learning manangement system housing educational content to serve the industry. In addition, the website continues to be home for electrocoating information.”
