“The electrocoat association is organized as a business league to represent the global electrocoating industry by promoting use of the technology and communicating the benefits of electrocoating to manufacturers, consumers, and government.”

“In carrying out the organization's exempt purposes during the year, the electrocoat association focused on educating industries on the costs and benefits of using electrocoating technology. We offer a video platform to our membership in their renewal fees for use in educating and empowering their employees and also to attract new members. We promoted all events and benefits of association participation through the utilization of social media communication (twitter and linkedin) with potential members, members and industry participants as well as email campaigns. We participated in the powder coating institutes powder coating conference held in orlando in april. The association held two (2) electrocoating boot camps - one in june in lexington, ky and one in october in charlotte, nc as technical training courses. We participated in fabtech held in chicago, il in september which is an industry trade show also held in the fall. Board and committee meetings were held to direct the association's business and marketing strategies for the future. The association continues to sell it's book "electrocoat: a guidebook for finishers." in addition, the website continues to be home for electrocoating information.”
