Mission

Our job is to provide support services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Those services include housing, in-home care, medical supervision, transportation, job and life counseling, entertainment, and recreation. We want to set the standard of care of the disabled in this community. Our goal is for our individuals to live as independently, safely and happily as possible.

TO FURTHER THE SPIRITUAL, INTELLECTUAL, MORAL, & PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF THOSE WHO ARE developmentally disabled, BY PROVIDING THEM LIVING ARRANGEMENTS, SERVICES AND SUPPORTS TO ENABLE THEM TO ACHIEVE A MAXIMUM LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE IN THE COMMUNITY.

The Business Manager completes the initial review of the Form 990 after it is prepared by the CPA. When finalized, the Executive Director reviews and approves final processing for Clark, Schaefer and Hackett.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12C

Upon acceptance of a board position, a new board member must read and sign the conflict of interest policy. Existing board members must read and sign the statement every year. Any potential conflict would be reviewed by the board on a case by case basis to determine what action should be taken.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15A

Board members compiled a list of questions for the Executive Directors. They completed the questionnaire along with strategic goals for the future. The Board also compared executive director compensations through a website called GuideStar.com. The organization does not have any other key employees or officers by the Form 990 definition. Other employees have up to a maximum percentage increase and the typical raise will be determined by performance criteria. The Executive Director makes the decision and collaborates with the Board for final approval.

Our residents also embrace the local flavor of Cincinnati and the arts by attending the Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Reds games, and Broadway productions.Catholic Residential Services strives to provide those we serve with the opportunity to go on a vacation. Catholic Residential Services does all of the planning and provides all of the staff for these vacations. We take the time to talk to those we support to find out what interests them and what they want most to ensure that each person receives a vacation that is tailored to them.
