The mission of the church is to assist the poor and needy in our community

Our mission: is to reach out and help those in need with food, clothing, community services and educational programs, by partnering with local government agencies, schools, businesses, churches, civic groups, clubs, neighborhood organizations, along with community members and their leaders to help improve the lives and situations of the residents and the community of mars hill, indianapolis

THESE ITEMS CAME FROM A COMBINATION OF DONATIONS MADE BY BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS TO THE MISSION AND PURCHASES MADE DIRECTLY BY THE MISSION. THIS IS AN ESTABLISHED PROGRAM THAT WAS ABLE TO HELP AN AVERAGE OF 24 HOUSEHOLDS PER WEEK.-$25,640

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 28

The mission holds a weekly food pantry pick up. Through is program the mission was able to help supplement food and personal items to the local community. These items came from a combination of donations made by businesses and individuals to the mission and purchases made directly by the mission. This is an established program that was able to help an average of 24 households per week.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

During the pandemic the needs of the community changed and with that we increased the amount of assistance we have provided for the cost of housing, utilities and other living necessities. As people in the community are still struggling with work and the continued rise in the basic cost of living we have continued to help with the everyday expenses. We were able to assist 181 individuals and families with various bills throughout the year.

We partnered with a local business, ray skillman, to organize our annual toy and clothing christmas giveaway. Through this partnership we provided toys and clothing to approximately 200 children with an average child recieving 130 in items. This partnership did not cost the organization anything as all costs were paid for by ray skillman.
