Mission

St. Anthony's hospice, in partnership with the community, seeks to maximize the quality and dignity of life for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. Through a holistic approach, our professional team is honored to guide and empower patients, families and caregivers during life's most sacred journey. St. Anthony's hospice provides extensive nursing and home-care aide services in a patient's home, nursing home or the lucy smith king care center when a community member is facing a life-limiting illness. In addition to nursing care, patients receive spiritual and emotional care through our social work and chaplaincy services. We also offer bereavement care to families of a loved one who passed away, whether or not the deceased was under st. Anthony's hospice care. The st. Anthony's hospice mission is to provide superior quality hospice care to patients and families regardless of their ability to pay. Donation, memorial gifts and fundraising dollars stay in our community in order to

St. Anthony's hospice, in partnership with the community, seeks to maximize the quality and dignity of life for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses. Through a holistic approach, our professional team is honored to guide and empower patients, families and caregivers during life's most sacred journey. St. Anthony's hospice provides extensive nursing and home-care aide services in a patient's home, nursing home or the lucy smith king care center when a community member is facing a life-limiting illness. In addition to nursing care, patients receive spiritual and emotional care through our social work and chaplaincy services. We also offer bereavement care to families of a loved one who passed away, whether or not the deceased was under st. Anthony's hospice care. The st. Anthony's hospice mission is to provide superior quality hospice care to patients and families regardless of their ability to pay. Donation, memorial gifts and fundraising dollars stay in our community in order to help us provide this excellent care. The patient's benefit goes above the medicare regulation by providing medical supplies such as diapers, wipes, boost, gloves, chucks, etc. As a not-for-profit hospice we have a much lower rn, cna, social worker case mix, enabling the organization to care for our patients and families in the best way possible. We offer community and individual grief counseling. Counseling is not limited to bereaved hospice families, but is open to the entire community for any grief issue. The st. Anthony's hospicie board of directors sets aside money from the operating budget to provide needs for families such as non- related prescriptions that would add comfort, food, utilizes vehicle fuel, shelter and housing, laundry, dme not covered by hospice, clothing, gifts and money toward funeral expenses.
