Activity 2

Leadership academy is a fraternity-supported program that provided training and education to all chapter presidents, vice presidents of risk management, chapter advisors and province collegiate chairs. The training included sessions that focused on effective leadership strategies in such areas as action planning, values and ethics, decision-making, conflict management, and facilitation skills. The skills needed to be a chapter officer find their foundation in basic life skills that enable our members to be more successful within their interpersonal interactions, as leaders for their campuses and communities, and for their lives beyond their experiences in college.

Activity 3

The organization supported efforts from the collegiate experience department focused on risk management training to ensure that all collegians understand that leading a healthy lifestyle leads to a safer and healthier collegiate and lifetime experience; and to help our volunteers and staff to focus their efforts to encourage healthy individual decisions. Continuous support is provided to chapters through the department's commitment to hire and train chapter consultants who deliver presentations on risk management, officer transitions, all member retreats, new member education, diversity, and other key areas.
