Committed to providing quality services to help people and families help themselves. The primary goal is the eradication of the paradox of poverty in the midst of plenty in this Nation.

Major Activities

Emergency HEAP program is a federally funded program that assists income eligible households whose heating services are disconnected in threat of disconnection or have less than a ten-day supply of bulk fuel The program can also assist clients wit h deposits for primary andor secondary heat sources to establish service
Activity 3
The Community Services Block Grant CSBG Program provides community programming to the three county area The Neighborhood Service Centers are funded through CSBG These centers provide information and referral for all of GMNs programs and a commu nity forum Policy Advisory Council through which low income persons can have their concerns heard The purpose of the Neighborhood Service Centers is to provide any service that is beneficial for a better way of life for low-income aged handi capped or socially unaccepted persons Many services are available through the central office and the various programs therein However the Neighborhood Service Centers act as a referral service to other agencies outside GMN Tri-County CAC Inc
