Form 990, Part III, Line 2

In 2013 Panah Charity established vocational workshops in Afghanistan for poor and needy women (mostly widows). In these vocational workshops Panah Charity teaches the women how to work and make money to feed their children and survive. Also, in the vocational workshops Panah Charity teaches reading and writing to poor women. This is a great program and helps poor women to stand on their own feet and become self-sufficient.

IRS990/ProgSrvcAccomActy3Grp/Desc0In 2013 Panah Charity built 16 water wells in 16 different villages and locations where poor and homeless families are living. In those locations children had to walk miles to bring drinking water from other water wells and this was very difficult particularly during the summer and winter seasons. By building these water wells Panah Charity helped thousands of needy families and also saved children from transportation of water in buckets from miles away.
