Mission

Panah is a CHARITABLE non-profit foundation with active 501c (3) status. This charity was formed in 2010 to help poor and homeless families by providing various humanitarian services. Panah Charity's mission is to provide aid via different programs to poverty-stricken families and individuals in Afghanistan. Short descriptions of Panah Charity's programs are as followings: Building homes for homeless families, building class rooms for homeless children, helping needy families to become self sufficient, building water wells, sponsoring very poor widows and orphans, providing humanitarian aid, saving children from child labor, helping very poor individuals with their medical expenses, . . . and more.

Panah is a CHARITABLE non-profit foundation helping poor and needy families mostly in Afghanistan. More than 9 million individuals are living below the poverty level in Afghanistan. In 2016 Panah Charity added one more goal to its mission and that was building shelters for widows/children, classrooms, and workshops for families living in makeshift tents in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Also, Panah Charity's goal is to help the needy families to become self-sufficient and stand on their own feet. Panah Charity working hard toward reducing the child-labor activities by sponsoring the families of young needy children. Panah Charity also provides humanitarian aid to starving families and children such as food supplies, heating supplies during the winter season, and warm clothing. This foundation also creates water wells in very dry and poor villages in Afghanistan to provide clean drinking water to needy families.

She reviews every single invoice, documents, bills, contract, and etc to ensure the accuracy of work and financial data. Also she maintains all backup including complete sets of bills and invoices for each and every expense throughout the year plus photos and videos of program services as back ups.

These families were living below the poverty level in Afghanistan and in each household there are at least 7-8 family members including young children. Winter is a deadly season for poor young children in Afghanistan. In winter 2017 Panah Charity was able to deliver heating supplies to over 1300 poor families, blankets to 600 widows, food supplies to 450 families, and warm clothing to 1000 homeless children living in makeshift tents.

In those locations children had to walk miles to bring drinking water from other water wells and this was very difficult particularly during the summer and winter seasons. By building these water wells Panah Charity helped needy families and also saved children from transportation of water in buckets from miles away. Cost of building 11 water well was $15,829 in 2017.

They each maintain a complete folder on Panah Charity's activities in Kabul, Afghanistan.
