Lead convener of the Northwest Open Notes Consortium. Bringing together health systems and consumers to spread patients easy access to their own medical chart notes. Approximately ten (10) health systems engaged. Gave presentations reaching approximately 450 consumers, policy makers and health system leaders.$23,287-
We took lead responsibility for convening, facilitating and expanding a collective of allied organizations also doing non-partisan advocacy around health reform, health equity and fundamental change related to people needing access to care, called the Allies for a Healthier Oregon.$16,630-
Education to reframe the focus of health reform debates, highlghting health, coverage and utilization of health care as distinct yet overlapping contructs. We used email updates, online web-based seminars and in-person forums to discuss and question policy focuses and strategies. The organization engaged in no direct lobbying activities through direct contact with legislators to influence legislation.
