We took lead responsibility for convening, facilitating and expanding a collective of allied organizations also doing non-partisan advocacy around health reform, health equity and fundamental change related to people needing access to care, called the Allies for a Healthier Oregon.$17,666-
Lead convener of the Northwest Open Notes Consortium. Bringing together health systems and consumers to spread patients easy access to their own medical chart notes. Approximately ten (10) health systems engaged. Gave presentations reaching approximately 500 consumers, policy makers and health system leaders.$3,846-

The organization engaged in no direct lobbying activities through direct contact with legislators to influence legislation. Almost all of its expenditures are to educate the public and anyone active in forming and implementing health care policy on important issues related to health care reform and to create forums for the discussion of these issues. All stakeholders in the reform effort participate in these forums including members of the public, medical and insurance industry representatives, legislators, elected public officials and their staff. An allocation of expenses for indirect, grass roots lobbying that compliments the organizations education efforts has been made as reported.
