THE ORGANIZATION'S SIGNATURE PROGRAM, THE CITIZENS' INITIATIVE REVIEW (CIR), IS ONE SPECIALIZED EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS KNOWN AS "CITIZENS JURIES" OR "CITIZEN ASSEMBLIES" WHEREBY EVERYDAY PEOPLE, CHOSEN BY LOTTERY ARE CONVENED TO ADDRESS DIFFICULT POLICY QUESTIONS. THE FOLLOWING ARE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ORGANIZATION'S 2020 ACCOMPLISHMENTS: IMPLEMENTED AN OREGON STATEWIDE CITIZEN ASSEMBLY TO PROVIDE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR COVID-19 RECOVERY. INITIATED THE 2020-2021 EUGENE REVIEW PANEL ON MIDDLE-HOUSING.
